Scholarships
The Bilateral Program is a full or partial scholarship provided under educational cooperation and exchange agreements—or consensuses—signed between the Chinese government and relevant foreign governments, institutions, universities, or international organizations.
1. Categories of Applicants
Zhejiang Normal University accepts applications from undergraduate students, master’s students, doctoral students, and general scholar students.
For detailed information regarding scholarship categories, application timelines, and other requirements, please consult the dispatching authority in your home country.
2. Application Guide
(1) Log in to the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Online Application System at http://www.campuschina.org and complete the required online procedures. Instructions for the system and the “Agency Number” can be obtained from your home country’s dispatching authority.
(2) Applicants who obtain a Pre-admission Letter from Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) may increase their chances of receiving a scholarship under the Bilateral Program. To request pre-admission, please send the CSC application form and a complete set of supporting documents to admission@zjnu.edu.cn. Eligible applicants will receive a Pre-admission Letter within 20 working days after review.
(3) Submit all application materials to your home country’s dispatching authority within the prescribed timeframe.
(4) Please note that neither CSC nor Zhejiang Normal University accepts direct individual applications for the Bilateral Program. Do not send application materials directly to CSC or ZJNU. Only applicants recommended by their home country’s dispatching authority will be considered for the scholarship.
(5) After obtaining the dispatching authority's recommendation, applicants must complete the application on the Zhejiang Normal University international admissions portal: https://admission.zjnu.edu.cn.
3. Admission Status Tracking
Admission results will be released around July through your home country’s dispatching authority. Upon receiving the scholarship award notice, students may download the Admission Notice and the electronic JW201 Form from the official website.
