I. Educational Objectives
This program cultivates interdisciplinary specialists with sound political attainment, professional ethics and humanistic literacy. Focusing on small town and rural planning, students will be familiar with relevant industry policies, regulations, development history and related knowledge, and master basic principles and methodologies of urban and rural planning and design. Graduates possess strong capabilities in urban and rural planning design and planning administration, together with a strong sense of social responsibility, teamwork spirit and innovative thinking. Equipped with excellent communication skills, modern information processing capabilities and an international vision, they are qualified to engage in urban and rural planning design, administration, research and education in planning institutions, administrative authorities, universities and research institutes.
II. Duration of Study
The program lasts for 5 years, with a permitted study period of 4–7years.

Advanced Mathematics, Descriptive Geometry, Shades and Perspective, Sketching, Computer-Aided Design and Representation, Architectural Drawing, Color Studies, Surveying and Cartography, Urban Geography, Urban Economics, Social Survey Methods in Urban Planning, Geographic Information Systems, Urban Sociology, etc.
