Public Administration (Taught in Chinese)

I. Educational Objectives

This program cultivates high-quality interdisciplinary management talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor education. Graduates shall acquire a solid grounding in Marxist political theories and master fundamental knowledge in administrative science, management, political science, sociology and law. Endowed with high political awareness, they are capable of meeting the requirements of law-based administration under the socialist market economy. Equipped with foundational qualities for modern administrative management and basic professional research competencies, as well as organizational skills and teamwork awareness, they are able to engage in administrative management and relevant work in grassroots Party and government organs, enterprises, public institutions and social organizations.

II. Duration of Study

The program lasts for 4 years, with a permitted study period of 3–6 years.

III. Core Major Courses

Public Administration, Principles of Management, Political Science, Public Policy, Modern Governance, Introduction to Sociology, Civil Service System, Leadership Science, Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law, Social Research Methods, Chinese Government and Politics, Quantitative Analysis Methods.

Humanities Chinese, Mathematics.
