Robotics Engineering (Taught in Chinese)

I. Educational Objectives

Targeting scientific research, theoretical study, design and development, production and management within the robotics sector, this program cultivates high-caliber robotics professionals with a strong sense of social responsibility, innovative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, international competitiveness, and both moral integrity and professional competence. Guided by the integration of industry, education and research, the program focuses on three training tracks: industrial robots, intelligent robots, and machine vision and artificial intelligence. Based on robotics-related theories and engineering practice, it helps students build a diversified knowledge framework, develop systematic creative thinking, and strengthen their capabilities in engineering innovation and solving complex robotics problems.


II. Duration of Study

The program lasts for 4 years, with a permitted study period of 3–6 years.


III. Basic Disciplinary Courses

Theoretical Mechanics, Fundamentals of Robotics, Electrical and Electronic Technology, Advanced Mathematics, Introduction to Robotics Program, General Chemistry, Engineering Graphics, General Physics, General Physics Experiment, Linear Algebra, Mechanics of Materials, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, etc.


IV. Core Major Courses

Embedded Systems and Applications, Fundamentals of Mechanical Design, Mechatronic Transmission Control, Principles of Automatic Control, Mathematical Modeling and Engineering Applications, Principles and Applications of PLC, System Integration of Industrial Robots, etc.
