Chinese Language (Taught in Chinese)

I. Educational Objectives

This program enrolls international students with non-Chinese native languages and a senior high school diploma or above. It aims to cultivate advanced interdisciplinary and application-oriented Chinese language talents who are familiar with fundamental national conditions including China’s society, economy and culture, possess proficient comprehensive Chinese language competence and cross-cultural communication skills, and are able to engage in exchanges in commerce, tourism, culture, education and other fields both within and outside China.

II. Duration of Study

The program lasts for 4 years, with a permitted study period of 3–6 years.

III. Basic Disciplinary Courses

Introduction to Chinese Language Program, Intermediate Comprehensive Chinese, Intermediate Chinese Listening and Speaking, HSK Level 5 Tutorial, Intermediate Chinese Reading and Writing, Advanced Comprehensive Chinese, etc.

IV. Core Major Courses

Advanced Chinese Reading and Writing, Advanced Chinese Listening and Speaking, Advanced Comprehensive Business Chinese, Advanced Business Chinese Listening and Speaking, Advanced Business Chinese Writing, Chinese for International Trade Practices, etc.

V. CSCA Test Subjects

Humanities Chinese, Mathematics.
