Biotechnology(Pharmacy) (Taught in Chinese)

I. Educational Objectives

Focusing on biopharmaceutics, this program aims to cultivate high-level interdisciplinary engineering talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness and aesthetics. Graduates will possess solid expertise in biotechnology engineering, high comprehensive quality, strong social adaptability, innovative spirit and practical capabilities. Students will master fundamental knowledge and theories of biology, pharmacy and chemistry related to pharmaceutical engineering, modern experimental techniques and relevant engineering knowledge. They will receive training in scientific thinking and experimental skills for basic and applied research, and attain sound scientific literacy. Graduates are capable of conducting applied research, technological development and scientific management by leveraging acquired knowledge and experimental skills, and qualified to engage in production, engineering design, scientific research and development, applied research, operation and management related to pharmaceutical products.

II. Duration of Study

The program lasts for 4 years, with a permitted study period of 3–6 years.
