Applied Psychology (Taught in Chinese)

I. Educational Objectives

Responding to the growing demand of international students for studies in Applied Psychology, this program cultivates application-oriented undergraduate professionals with an international vision and all-round development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor. Graduates will have a solid grounding in fundamental psychological knowledge, strong capabilities in independent learning and comprehensive practical application. They are qualified to engage in mental health education, psychological counseling and guidance, user experience analysis and evaluation in schools, educational and training institutions, communities, enterprises, government agencies and other public institutions.

II. Duration of Study

The program lasts for 4 years, with a permitted study period of 3–6 years.

General Psychology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Computational Foundations of Psychology, Classic Research in Psychology, Psychological Statistics, Experimental Psychology, Psychological Measurement, Developmental Psychology, Neuroeducation, Artificial Intelligence and Psychology, etc.

IV. Core Major Courses

Theories of Psychological Counseling, Personality Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Educational Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Clinical Psychology, etc.
