Communications Engineering (Taught in Chinese)

I. Educational Objectives

This program cultivates application-oriented technical talents to meet the demands of modern communication technology and regional economic and social development. Graduates shall attain high cultural literacy, professionalism and a strong sense of social responsibility, and master engineering foundations and specialized knowledge in communication systems, communication networks, signal processing and related fields. They will possess professional competence and comprehensive qualifications for careers in communication systems, electronic information systems, computer applications and other relevant areas, and be capable of undertaking analysis, design, application development, management, teaching and technical services in the communication industry and related sectors.

II. Duration of Study

The program lasts for 4 years, with a permitted study period of 3–6 years.
