Notice on the Scholarship Extension of 2025 for CSC Ph.D. Students

Dear all CSC Ph.D. students,

According to the regulations of Chinese Government Scholarship management, CSC Ph.D. students with good performance can apply for one extension of the scholarship for a maximum of one year. Students who have received the scholarship extension cannot apply again.

 I Application Requirements

1. Pass the CSC annual review of 2025;

2. Pass the graduation dissertation proposal;

3. Pass the mid-term defense.

III Application Process

1. Students applying for an extension should first apply to the college counsellor and fill Application for Student Status Alteration;

2. Students should log in to the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System （https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login）and complete the annual review self-assessment first. Then select  Scholarship Extension, click Add, fill in the application content, and submit.

3. The university will submit the students meeting the requirements to the China Scholarship Council according to the 2025 comprehensive assessment results and relevant certification materials submitted by the college. The final results are expected around August.

Note: The extension application will not be accepted if overdue. If the application conditions or application materials do not meet the requirements, the application will be deemed invalid. Students who are unsuccessful in their scholarship extension may complete their studies at their own expense.
